Thailand’s
moves towards aviation liberalization began in 1995, when the government
amended long - standing policy to allow more than one national flag
carrier. Since then until now, with the global and Thailand’s national
open - sky policy, Thailand has both domestic and international
airlines with the majors ones namely Thai Airways International
and Bangkok Airways. Besides, there are low- fare but full-
frills airline like Phuket Air and the emerging low
- cost or no - frills subsidiary
airlines such as Orient Thai Airlines, Thai Air Asia and Nok Air. |
