- Day 1:
Arr. SIEM REAP (-/L/D)
- Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you are transferred to the hotel for checking
in. In the afternoon, let explore Khmer Temples from the early Angkor
period. Then, visit Bakong, Prah Ko and Lolei temples, situated east
of Angkor Wat, to be back to the 9th century AD, when they were the
center of Khmer Civilization. Then, take an overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: SIEM REAP-ANGKOR COMPLEX
(B/L/D)
- After breakfast, visit the southern Gate of Angkor Thom, the inner royal
city, built by the end of the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman
VII; then witness the famous Bayon Complex in the center of Angkor Thom,
characterized by its many towers with four faces in the four cardinal
points; and take more sights at Baphoun, Phimean Akas, Elephant Terrace
and Terrace of Leper King.
- In the afternoon, you will take sights of brick and plaster- made Prasat
Kravan, built by the nobility, not the king; Banteay- Kdai, a massive
Buddhist temple built in the second half on the 12th century; continued
by the Water Basin (Pool of Ablutions) located east of it, called Sra
Srong; then experience Ta, Takeo, Chaosay Tevoda, and Thommanon Temple.
Then, take an overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3: SIEM REAP-ANGKOR COMPLEX
(B/L/D)
- After breakfast, visit small but exquisite Banteay Srei, located 20
kms north of Angkor Wat, continue with Pre Rup and Ta Prohm Temples, the
temples embraced with the huge tree root.
- In the afternoon you will explore Angkor Wat and view the sunset from
Bakheng hill. Then, take an overnight in Sien Reap.
Day 4: Dept. SIEM REAP (B/L/-)
- After breakfast, visit Artisant D’ Angkor and local market. Then, you
will be transferred to airport for departure flight.
