11- Days Tribal Laos

• Day01. Bangkok_Chaingrai_Chaingkhong(L/D)
  Welcome the clients at Chaingrai airport. Transfer to Chaingkhong district. Check in at Ban Nai Sra Family Resort, which offers you cozy surrounding and picturesque mountains adorned with lush forest and verdant paddy field where you can see villagers at their daily working in the fields. Cross- culture you could experience there. Dinner and Overnight at Ban Nai Sra Resort.
  
  
Day02. Chaingkhong-Pakbeng(B/L/D)
Excursion by road to Thai border to switch to Laos Immigration by crossing the Mekong River. Excursion by local transportation in a so- called Tuk Tuk to the pier for further slow boat trip. Excursion on the great Mekong River to see the scenic view, on luxurious Naga Cruise. Have picnic lunch on board. After that take a visit to some villages along the Mekong River. Dinner and Overnight at Pakbeng lodge or Villa Salika


Day03. Pakbeng-Udomxai(B/L/D)
Excursion by road for approximate 130 Km to Udomxai. Visit Ban Samkang, which is the weaving village in Muanghun District. Later on arrive Udomxai and have lunch. Afternoon, visit the area around up to your favor and free style, such as: Muangxai Stupa, the market. Dinner and Overnight at Litthavisay Guesthouse


Day04. Udomxai-Ban Bountai village(B/L/D)
Continue by road to Ban Bountai, a small village surrounded by mountains and river. Visit Muang Nan’s hot spring and old temples, after that continue to Ban Paknamnoy Village, and to the small market place where hill tribal people come down from their mountain village, for shopping. Have picnic lunch on the way. After nice lunch, visit Ban Laoli, Akha Pala hill tribe village and Ban Picheumai Akha Poly hill tribe village, where exotic cultures await. Arrive at late evening at Ban Bountai, then visit the French former military post built in 19 century. Dinner & Overnight at a guesthouse in primitive style (shared toilet and no hot shower).


Day05. Ban Bountai-Phongsali(B/L/D)
Continue by road for approximate 28 Km to Ban Yo, then turn left to China border to visit the Akha Nouchi hill tribe villages, and Ban Phapoun village. Have lunch at Ban Bounneu. Dinner and overnight at Phoufa Hotel


Day 06. Phongsali-Muangkhoa(B/L/D)
Excursion by road to Ban Hatsa, then take boat along the Nam Ou River, one of the most beautiful river in the country. Visit the villages along the way. Have a picnic lunch on the way. Arrive at late afternoon and visit the suspension bridge built by Vietnamese soldier during the Vietnamese War. Dinner and overnight at Suenali Hotel.


Day 07. Muangkhoa-Muanggoi(B/L/D)
Continue by the same boat to Muanggoi. Visit Ban Lao Theung Weaving village. Have lunch at Muanggoi. In the afternoon, visit Tam Phakuang and Tam Phatok the former cave of communist army, which was shot by American airplane group during the Vietnamese war. Dinner and overnight at Phaiboun Guesthouse


Day 08. Muanggoi-Luangprabang(B/L/D)
Excursion by road for approximate 2 hours to Luangprabang. Visit Pak Ou Holly Cave fulfilled with thousand of Buddha images. Have lunch at Ban Pak Ou Village. Arrive at late afternoon and visit Wat Visoun Temple and Phousi Hill. Dinner and overnight at Grand Luangprabang hotel


• Day 09. Luangprabang(B/L/D)
  City tour to the former capital city of the Lanexang kingdom such as: former royal palace, Wat Mai Temple, Wat Xiengthong Temple and Kuangsi Waterfall. Dinner and overnight at Grand Luangprabang Hotel
  
Day 10. Luangprabang-Vientiane(B/L/D)
Leave the hotel at 06’30 am, and visit the monk arm collection site where you can touch the feeling of Asia in the old days. Then, take a visit to the local fresh food market. Get back to the hotel for breakfast. Then have a free time until the time to transfer to domestic airport to Vientiane. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, take a city tour to attractions in this capital city such as: Thatluang Stupa, Wat Sisaket, Wat Hoprakeo Temple, Patouxay, the Victory Gate, and the morning market. Dinner and overnight at Settha Palace, Lao Plaza or Donchan Palace.


Day 11. Vientiane-departure
Transfer to international airport for departure flight

Services include:
- Private transportation by Chinese bus in the north, boat, a/c van, bus in Luangprabang, Vientiane
- Domestic air ticket for Luangprabang-Vientiane, domestic airport tax
- Entrance fee
- Full board meals
- Accommodation in twin sharing room at hotels as indicated in the itinerary or similar.
